Bledsoe County is preparing a Hazard Mitigation Plan to reduce the county’s vulnerability to hazards such as flooding, droughts, wildfires, and winter storms, and to increase its resilience to these natural hazards. The previous plan was prepared in 2019 and needs to be updated every five years. By completing this plan, the County will be eligible for grants from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for mitigation projects.
